Description
This college study session portrait prompt creates a warm, authentic studio photo of two students sharing notes. In addition, it preserves your exact facial features and natural body proportions. As a result, your real faces blend smoothly into the scene without awkward poses. The finished image feels completely natural, relaxed, and candid.
A focused desk-lamp light source casts a golden glow across the textbooks, bringing out warm skin tones and cheerful eye reflections. In the background, a smooth slate-blue backdrop creates a soft, complementary contrast that makes the subjects stand out cleanly. The 50mm studio lens framing keeps both people sharply in focus while softly blurring minor background edges. This balanced mix of direct light and clean framing gives the scene an editorial, lifelike quality.
You can easily tweak a few words in the studio portrait prompt to match your own style:
- Swap “forest-green crewneck” and “oatmeal-beige pullover” with your favorite sweatshirt colors or everyday hoodies.
- Replace “matte slate-blue studio paper backdrop” with “sunlit campus library with tall bookshelves” for a realistic campus setting.
- Change “medium-full shot” to “intimate close-up portrait” to focus entirely on smiling expressions and shared laughter.

A candid medium-full shot of the college couple from the reference photo, sitting cross-legged on a low neutral-grey studio riser facing each other at an angle. Preserve both subjects’ exact faces and body proportions. She leans back laughing with a pastel highlighter pen tucked behind her ear while holding up an open spiral notebook to show him, while he leans forward with an amused smile, resting one hand on a stack of thick textbooks and pointing at her notes with a pen. He wears an oversized forest-green collegiate crewneck sweatshirt over a white t-shirt, relaxed grey fleece joggers, and white sneakers. She wears a soft oatmeal-beige half-zip fleece pullover over a navy fitted tee, high-waisted denim jeans, and her hair up in a messy topknot secured with a tortoiseshell claw clip. Warm, directional studio desk-lamp spotlight from the left casting a cozy focused circle of tungsten light on their notes and faces, balanced by soft ambient fill. Seamless, matte slate-blue studio paper backdrop with a gentle gradient falloff, completely abstract and devoid of any room or location markers. Hardcover textbooks with sticky-note tabs, open notebooks, and an insulated travel mug rest beside them. 50mm lens at f/2.0, sharp focus on their laughing eyes and handwritten notes.
